信陽市吉盛珍珠巖有限公司創立于2011年，占地面積50余畝，是一家從事珍珠巖深加工的高新技術企業。公司在提高資源利用率、集約化生產的思路指引下，經科技創新改造，陸續投產了珍珠巖制砂生產線、玻化微珠生產線、玻化微珠微粉綜合利用生產線、膨脹珍珠巖、復合珍珠巖板材生產線、珍珠巖閉合生產系統等；整合改變了珍珠巖行業資源利用率低、機械化程度不高、生產綜合能耗高、污染大等問題，提高了珍珠巖產品品質和產品供應的穩定性。主要產品有玻化微珠、膨脹珍珠巖、無機輕集料（珍珠巖）保溫板、珍珠巖助濾劑、珠光砂、膨潤土、漂珠等。公司現有國家知識產權局授權的實用新型等專利27項，吸納科技人才和附近勞動力90余人，每年為周邊居民創收逾800萬元。
